Does anyone have insight to finding replacements for the two hollow dowels / pins / bushings / alignment pins that are used to ensure correct fitment of the engine to the bell housing? For the life of me I can’t find a source, not even sure if I’m calling it the right name… it’s 13mm outer diameter, 11 mm ID, and 18mm long. I discovered my Giardiniera had only one when removing the engine, and it got somewhat mangled on removal. Thanks!

They are not a listed part; your best option is to find somebody with a small lathe to make you up a couple. Try your local "Model Engineering" club. I always make sure that when I buy a 2nd hand gearbox the dowels come with it, and yes, I accept that hindsight is 20/20!

Seems to be part number 986952. May help you find them.

That would have been a main agent type part back in the day but I have never seen any for sale these days. I have found one in my gearbox bits I was just sorting through so I can get you some accurate dimensions if you are getting some made.

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I do have one still laying around and a local friend who says he can recreate more... sounds like that's the path to go.
