I have a 1971 fiat 850 sport spider and want to swap the engine with something more powerful. I’ve read around and heard some ideas but I’m not really sure what my best option is. Anyone have any ideas? Or have done it before?

Seriously one problem may be engine direction of rotation limiting choices available.
