General engine peeps

Hello,

I have a problem. When I start my fiat seicento and give gas, then comes out of the engine room an high tone. But when the engine is warm i don't have that problem anymore. Do you know what this could be?

Probably the aux belt slipping.
Usually worse when cold & damp.

Could also be the cam belt tensioner.

Remove aux belt and start car.

If noise has gone away, its the aux belt or alternator bearings.

If the noise is still there, dig further.

Lack of oil pressure due to worn pump and wrong oil grade, cured once warmed up and flowing better. It's your bearings and cam eating the engine
