With new filter fitted around 6 litre but check level when you’ve got 5.5 litres in after 1st new oil start up also oil level takes while to settle easy to overfill

TRY 5LT as my 2012 2.3lt 130 hand book said 5.3lt sump and .6lt oil filter but in practise you don't get all the old oil out about 1lt still in the system . Just changed mine last week.
Got to see the dealer this week to get the oil & service light switched off .

I note you've asked the same question elsewhere, because you got a subsequent 'Check your oil level' message.
I've recently changed the oil on my Euro 5 engine (first time I've done it myself on this vehicle) and successfully reset the oil-change interval with Multiecuscan.
Disturbingly, I also subsequently got the oil message, but it disappeared after a couple of engine restarts and short stationary runs, and hasn't reappeared in 3K miles since (and the oil-change interval reading is correct).
5.9 litres is the quoted amount for a Euro 5 with filter change, but it took slightly less, and the oil is bang on the upper mark on the dipstick.
When you reset oil light you will get message change oil this can take a number of start ups before it stops this is normal your Euro 5 would of took 5.2 to 5.5 litres
