https://www.fdricambi.com list engine lid hinges for the 600 but they might not be correct for your car (+ they cost £70 each ).
I rebuilt a 1968 600 and if I remember correctly, (bear in mind, I'm trying to remember from 45 years ago) mine had the top part welded to the body and the longer bottom part attached to the engine lid by studs and nuts?

Have you considered an alternative hinge? Maybe outer door hinges as used on the Mk 1&2 Mini's could be used? see https://minispares.com
(>body>doors>fixings, then go to 2nd page)

If you really wanted to save time/money, you could even modify ordinary shed door 'T' hinges to work (if you're not bothered about originality).

I've been looking around at all options and my OCD is bugging me to keep em original and not go for aftermarket reproductions. I think I have a set sourced, just need to get the rivnuts sorted.

As it happens, ;), Lidl stores here in Ireland, have Rivnut kits from today (Mon. 2nd Sept.) @ Euro 29.99 if you still need them.

Awh crap, I'm only after seeing this!!

My FIL and MIL are in Italy at the moment so I've asked him to see if he sees a breakers yard to enquire about hinges, we'll see, hopefully he comes through for me!

Hey @FR85 did you get to the bottom of your hinge hunt?

I used these hinges on my bonnet…

… And I imagine they could be used for the boot lid as well. The issue I had with them is they are contoured to fit the 500 panel. So, I had to 3D print some spacers for the 600 hood (crappy red arrow below). I would be happy to share the cad file for the spacer if you decide to go this route.

Heya,

No, I followed a few false leads but I'm hoping that one will turn up!

I've since found that while a lot of panels were replaced and the car was painted, the flat panel below the rear seat has some tin worm so repairing this will be forefront.
I was looking at the replacement repair section for this area and it's steep enough for what it is so I think I'm going to cut out and fab, it's a relatively flat surface and is hidden alo g with only being small sections.

Thanks so much for the kind offer all the same, very much appreciated!!
