I need to replace the ecu as it has had water damage, looking fo a used unit but what is the actual part number on the sticker? Do I need the bcm as well, any advice appreciated

Maybe it is a more economally and frustration friendly idea that you repair the engine ecu, find a company in your area who can fix circuit boards. Not any ECU will work, you need to program keys and the immobiliser etc. Probably best to try to fix the old one.

My limited understanding is that any module except for the BCM (Body Control Module) can be replaced with a new virgin unit and initialised with a proxy alignment. The BCM must be ordered from FIAT with the VIN etc and it will arrive programmed for your specific vehicle.
