Technical Engine Control light

Car not used for just over a week due to Covid Started no issue but ECU light came on and has come on each start up since. Previously replaced EGR valve when car went in limp mode and cleaned out the system. Had no problems before this very short lay off. Previously the glow plug light has been flashing on the dash but thats never been an issue. just wondering does anyone think that the ECU light staying on could be plug related ? The car is running okay and accelerating no problem. Any thoughts on this please.

I am very sorry to say the only sensible way to tell why the mil light is on is to plug a code reader in and see why ecu has put light on.

I do not believe it is connected to glow plug issue - my early multi has glow plug issue that gives a code but doesn't turn on mil light.
