Good evening to all.
Does anyone know how to reset the ecu by batt disc. Aside from the obvious, I need details. Also is the ecu adaptive in the way u drive?
Thanks!

Worth noting that it doesn't reset everything. Certain parameters are retained. Like total time spend over revved. (68 seconds and counting......)

hahahahha what do you mean by that jnoiles? Does it count from the second you have reached the rev limiter? I remember reaching it about 3 times at 7250-7500 rpm (dont know the exact figure of the rev limiter). Quite easy to reach it in 1st gear!

No, over revved. Probably not easily done, if at all possible, in a Dualogic ;)

Long story. In short upon starting the car the revs wouldnt fall, they would reach 2.5 and maybe 3k and stay there. So mechanic thought it migh be throtle body with gunk due to KN cone filter. So we took it out cleaned it problem solved. Maybe for 2 months, a couple of days ago same thing all over. So took off throttle body cleaned put back in and nothing. Until I moved the gas pedal wires around wacked a little with my mag lite (LOL) and presto revs dropped. What i didnt do is remove neg lead from batt, so when i put cable back on gas pedal, allsorts of codes jumped up, hillholder, esp asr, and check engine. started and stopped the car a couple of times and the other lights went away, except for the engine. So this morning I disconnected the batt for 40 min, and all is fine!
Has this happened to anyone before with the revs??????
