True enough, but when I consider that I bought my Panda for £100 it puts things in perspective. I enjoy my Panda a lot, and as much as I'd like a 4X4 I don't think that they are worth an extra £1282.00!

I paid £500 for juppy which thought was VERY reasonable for the amount of work that had went into him but this is more of a collector item and like most collectors items you buy it cause its collectable, not cause of what it is or does.

In a way it's a shame cause who ever has bought it will never be able to enjoy it like Paddy or Juppy. (Or kick it's tyres when the fuel pump explodes in the middle of ballmena...... Basil Faulty would of been proud!)

What! That's stupid money. I'd be more understanding if it was totally original, but where are the bull bars and bonnet scoop? Stupid money. It might be a minter, but it's not the ultimate Panda until it has all of the proper 4x4 trimmings on.

The bull bars, lightguards and stuff didn't come as standard on the ordinary 4x4. Even if you went for the Sisley you only got the 'oh my god, my panda is falling over' inclineometer, colour coded scoop, ski rack (??) and headlight washers (and a lot of canoe's). So that one is a totally original 'basic' 4x4.

But all that stuff is still out there if anyone fancies it (have a look at Steves CLX as he's really 4x4'd it with Sisley ski racks etc)
