Mick was there and so was Rob.
Cheers for the help last night Ming, got home after stopping 4times and doing 50MPH all the way.

As said in the other thread, lost you's almost as soon as I got in there. Glad I parked near the exit though - took literally seconds to leave the place. Wasn't too bad, but there was a pretty massive gap between quality motors and nedded up Saxo's and the like. Guess that's cruises for you though :D

Ok then got some piccys of the Blown Tank today with my new camera.

That's how it should look.

P1000014.jpg

That's the Hole it blew.

And a close up showing more damage inside.

P1000013.jpg

Best use for a Brakeline clamp, that and some micro poures tape and a bolt stopped any water coming out of that hose.

And finally the 899's tank in my 1108, and yes we had the cap off all the way home from East Kilbride.

Sorry if the piccys are a bit big, don't know how to resize them on the Main computor.

Jeezo, that must've made some noise when it blew :stunned:

Yeah myself, Ally and some of the other Pug owners went for a wander a few times but only went to the second level once really, but when I looked around for you I couldn't see any sign. It is really easy to lose people at that kind of event though - so much going on.

Have to say, most people said it wasn't that great this time around. The one in the multi-storey last year was much more fun and that was basically a traffic jam :D

Agree that the R8 was nice, not that loud compared to some of the cars popping and screeching tyres that night though. Quite liked some of the cars on show, mainly the EK9s and DC5s as well as 2 Skyline's an R32 and 33. There was a pretty interesting Stilo on show, though the bonnet, roof and front bumper paint idea is similar to what I have planned ;)

Was that a Blue Stilo Rob??
If so then that's Murray's (2k9murray2k9), he's only got the car back the day before after having the inteior re trimmed.

Errr the noise the Tank made was the Pop you here when you have your tyre re beaded by somone like National Tyres.
It was :
"POP!" "****!"
Steam everywhere
Engine off and pull bonnet release.
