Technical Ducato x250 headlight help

Hi
I’ve fitted the facelift to my 09 x250 to a 14 onwards
Now I’m stuck with the headlights has old headlights have 8 wires
New headlights have 10 so 2 extra pins in the connector obviously because new have fitted drl not the led tho
I had to cut old off because wires need extending to reach new headlights
So I just matched 1 to 1 but leaves 2 spare
I plugged in anyway and headlights work
Just no indicator
And high beam comes threw indicator bulb bad earth signs
How do I wire these to work please anyone it’s driving me mad

Hi , I’m the one asking for help with this as I know you got yours sorted, on the old loom there are 8 wires but the orange and white doesn’t connect to anything in the old h/light , no connector pin in the h/light , so I don’t know what this is for , I’ve spent most of today doing it and getting know where, can’t get levelling working?? Totally baffled, hope you can point me in the right direction

We had some wires spare even after everything worked mate
But like I said on the thread I did everything myself but needed help with headlights
The drl need a relay to work them from the f24 ignition feed sorry can’t be much help but I payed a sparky that basically did the one to one wiring method wiring one at a time until each was working main beam low beam hazards and indicators then left sidelights has they went to the relay he fitted with drl live and ignition feed
I can remember tho we had wires left over he cut off

@Happydays2024 did his own wiring if he can’t help with this I didn’t get a reply for the headlights when asked
