Hi, got a Ducato multijet 130 2012 and when I dip headlights most times I put the indicators on, which could be a bit dangerous if someone waiting to pull out of junction. Is there any way of turning this feature off, that's the indicators working with just one touch, or is it just a matter of getting used to it?

Thanks

Colin

Hi
I think that what you are describing is a fault not a feature,a very dangerous fault at that.
From my experience the only safe route is to replace the indicator stalk,a used one might be an option if new ones are pricey !

I have done the same, not often though, my opinion is, as the stalk is now (2011>) a one touch indicate type its easier if you remove main beam to dip to flick on the indicators. Whereas earlier models you had to properly move the stalk to indicate.
Try a different steering wheel adjustment and seat adjustment? I find I do the same after a long time driving and am more slumped over the wheel :)

Get dealer to check operation though, you may have a faulty one (I is a fiat)

Thanks for replies I'll get dealer to check. It's mainly when I switch main beam off quickly, as you see some lights come around the corner, but it is dodgy because it doesn't just flash once it's 5 or 6 times I think and the only way to stop it is put the other side on!!!! Keeps people guessing though :)
I'll report back if I get it sorted.
Colin

My 2010 van does the same, I don't think it's a fault, you just have to get used to the 'sensitive' nature of the indicators. But I agree, if there was a way of disabling it, I might be tempted.
