Suffered a couple of burst UFIP fuel filter/ water traps on my 2007 Ducato 120 - so I've fitted one of these Racor type

. It has a 30 micron element - but I can't find out what grade is fitted on OE filters.
Any idea, boffins?

Found this:-
Modern diesel fuel filters for high-pressure common rail (HPCR) systems generally require very fine filtration, typically in the range of
2 to 5 microns for secondary/final filters to protect sensitive injectors. Primary filters (pre-filters) often use a coarser 10 to 30-micron rating to remove larger debris and water.
But yours seem to be available to 2 microns.:-
Supplied with10 micron element
2 Micron ElementFRC-2010SM-OR
10 Micron ElementFRC-2010TM-OR
30 Micron ElementFRC-2010PM-OR

Good work, Bugsy!
So, is the Ducato definitely a common-rail system?
