Technical Ducato 2019 cluster retrofit to full or partly digital.

Heloo! I am hoping to get some information abaut Fiat ducato cluster retrofit from 2019 (analog) to 2022 ( fully or partialy digital). The plug in is the same 18 pin connector, but I belive that the comuncation between the unitis is diffrent. Does someone know if it's possible to buy some kind of interface or it's better to forget abaut it all together. Please excuse my bad english, as is not my native language. I cannot help with your request, but may I suggest that you think carefully before making the suggested modification. An analogue indication is much easier to read quickly than a digital readout. For example I know that on my x244, the engine temperature indicator at the 9 o clock position is normal. I do not have to take my eyes off the road for a longer period to focus and read two digits. Speedometer, and fuel gauges, have similar considerations.

On the otherhand, by going digital, you would avoid the problem of sticking stepping motors.

I am thing of replacing it with a genuine one so the water temp (at least in party digital) is still present in the same manner as the old one. Thank you for your reply, it's apreciated.

Hi, I would be very interested to do the same retrofit but have found it difficult to find any information.
