Hello

I've had the car in the garage over the winter. When I was going to start it after winter storage, the immobiliser on the dashboard came on. And it won't start. Tried some tricks I've seen online. The lock light on the dashboard can go out for a wery short while. But I can't start it before the light comes on.
Does anyone have an idea how I can start the car and get it home for more troubleshooting

Hi goran56,

Welcome to the forum. I find myself frequently repeating that when faced with a similar problem, I reseated the connectors on the code receiver, applying contact cleaner before reconnecting. The code receiver is located under the steering column lower cover, with 4 off No2 Pozidrive headed screws for access. This worked for me. The radio signale used are of very low amplitude, and I suspect that there is no DC path though the antenna connections (smaller connector) to break down any oxide film.

Please report any success or failure.
