Hi all
I'm stripping down the rear end of my 850t as part of a full restoration and have hit an issue with the rear hub nut.
It won't budge.

I took the whole arm off and the drive flange bolts came out relatively easily.
I then chucked a load of wd40 on it as I knew it would be a week or two before I got back to it.
The oil didn't work so with the flexi coupling being shot anyway I started to apply some heat (blow lamp, not torch) and it still won't budge.

Any ideas?

Also how tight should the driveshaft splines be into the drive flange?
Mine were completely dry and I suspect have been for many years
Pics for clarification
Thanks

Mine were tight on a 600, I like you used oil, left them to soak, used heat with an impact gun. Wasn't the easiest but eventually they opened.

Got them all apart now thanks.

Needn't have bothered, they're totally knackered. Arms and all.
