We just bought our first motorhome a 2008 Fiat Ducato Avan. They said it doesn't leak and technically it doesn't but our first downpour has shown that the top bunk window leaks inside itself. It is double glazed, so the unit wants sealing. Does anybody have the instructions to remove the window so we can repair it please and thank you :)

Hi Sue,

Welcome to the forum.
Perhaps the following may help.
My PVC has Dometic windows and blinds. At the sides of the windows there are curved panels with many small holes on a grid format.
Lever out the curved panels with a decorators scraper or similar, and the fixing screws for the blind are revealed.

Otherwise have you tried searching for fitting/installation instructions.

Ive done caravans but not motor homes. Remove stays from inside. Remove end stops from chanel end out side Raise window high and slide it off. Stays gaskets can crack and leak. I never found any so I suggest black automotive silicon or cutsome out of thin cork gasket sheet. New windows are really silly money. Gooogle 'motor caravan breakers' and youmay well get a result. My leaks were from micro cracks of the outer skin. To extend the life I drilled holes in the base of the outside skin. About 3mm if I remember. It worked well until cracking got worse.. I eventually scrapped a goodcaravan due to the economics. I hope you resolve this OK
