Technical door handle

Hi I need to fix a new door handle to my car-does anybody have any tips on how to do that or anything to look out for?? also where is the fuse box located??

theres a fuse box in the top of glove box and on drivers side behind the little shelf thingy you have to remove 2 screws for that one. this is on mk1,
