This question has probably been asked a million times, but - does the "sport" button on a 150T do anything obvious and should you use it? If so, when and for how long?

Any info would be much appreciated.

The sport button gives your turbo a boost... You get a tighter steering feedback and also the accelerator becomes heaps more responsive. The Power is noticable. I dont know how long you should have it on... I normally use it for over taking cars and sometimes at the lights :p hahah

You will use more fuel if you leave it on all the time.

Yes, it's definitely noticeable. Torque also rises noticeably (keep an eye on the fuel level too :) ). The thing is it only lasts for a limited period of time (don't remember how much, but couple of seconds I'd guess) and it needs about 2 seconds to get in, so it's not really instant...

Once activated it is on...doesn't go off...but after the initial yeeha, you get used to it so don't really notice it...I believe it adds another 5 somethings to the torque, which alters the power doodah and give it more oomph...

Firmer steering, more responsive throttle and 24 nm (about 11%) extra torque / pulling away oomph.

Initially I had it on all the time... but I got used to it though and the milage wasnt all that good :p

...the I switched it off and only turns it on when I want to have fun... and in this way its way cooler since I really feel the rush every once in a while and dont waste too much fuel when I sit in heavy traffic or just crusing.

Congrats on your SPORT button ... I cant live without it

Cheers

I have a dynamic,so i don't have the sport button and have dynoed it at 230 Nm and 150 hp while it was full stock..And the technical data says that the 150 without the sport button has 206 Nm..
