Hi,

As you may have seen from my previous post, I fitted some mud flaps on the front wheels although they were a bit large. I thought I'd give them a trim although the driver's side flap looks a bit thin (narrow).

Would you suggest I keep them on - or do you think they look stupid.

All opinions welcome.

Matt.

Hi,

I decided in the end to remove the front mud flaps. The large mud flaps kept rubbing on speed humps and the road when cornering. I then decided to trim them but to be honest, I think they looked a bit odd and I was scared of them causing damage - rusting, corrosion, damp etc...

I did decide to keep the rear mud flaps since they were from FIAT and in my opinion look good.

They're not my cuppa but you could have probably got used to them.

Are they needed? Not really, but then neither are many things people fit to their cars - just go with what suits you and doesn't cost the earth.

...Might be useful if you need to fly anytime!
Personally I think they'd look more at home on a truck. - well, you did ask!

Hi guys,

I took the mud flaps off the car from the previous post - However I noticed that the Fiat 500 section refers to the Ford KA front mud guards being a good fit.

So I took the plunge and purchased them for my Panda. Tell me what you think...

Much nicer!!

Protection from stone chips along the sills and door bottoms too!! Bloody surface dressing!!

It just goes to show the Ford KA mud flaps do fit on the Panda - although there is a small gap between the body and the flap, however it's not a big issue.

I can recommend them to any panda owner looking for front mud guards.

matty23 - sorry to ressurect an old thread but do you have a link to the Ka front flaps you bought? Are they genuine Ford ones? I can only find genuine ones on Ebay at £27.99.... are they the right ones?

I decided to remove the front and rear mud flaps in the end. This is because one of the screws for the rear mud flap came out and I wasn't risking any damage. Also upon seeing the damage the front Ford KA mud flaps caused on a FIAT 500, the results were shocking...

Here is the thread... https://www.fiatforum.com/500/316013-ford-ka-mud-flaps-fiat-500-a.html
