Ok No Fairy liquid ! Have bought some Collinite at vast expence and my husband will apply it this weekend if weather fine. Do we do it twice ?

yes lizzy 2 applications with 24 hours between to allow the first coat to cure

Look on the bright side you will be able to tidy the house whilst he's doing that it'll keep him occupied for hours ;)

when he applies it it wants to be put on as THIN as possible i mean REALLY THIN do a panel at a time as it can be a PITA to buff off if it fully dries

which one did you go for in the end Collinite 476?

buy the chap a pack of latex gloves as it tends to leave you hands very waterproof for quiet a few days as it will not wash off so don't let him do it in his Sunday best

it might seem expensive but there should be enough to do the car about 20 times i have done my Grande punto 3 times with 915 and the tin still looks unused..

if you can treat him to a couple of applicator pads they are only about £2.50 for 3 in a local motor shop and make the job much easier and you dont waste much wax...

have a read of this its a bit long but there is a section which explains waxing quite well..
