General Disk brake conversion kit for 1989 126p

Did a tuneup on the original front drum brake setup and they’re still scary! I’d like to covert to a disk brake setup but the only kits I’ve found are on fdrecambi and are very expensive for what they are. Please provide specs on an alternative if you can.

'89 has the bigger drums already, there were millions of those driving back in the 80's and 90's. It's a very small car engineered in the 60's with a tiny engine.
What's so scary about them?

You're correct; on their own the Polski brakes are OK, (sort of!). The problem is American drivers are, on average, terrible with no situational awareness and don't use their turn signals...
