Decent Car Audio System

Also, (and call this an unfair generalisation if you will) The guy working at Halfords is a guy working at Halfords....:D

dont put all you eggs in the same basket

the audio market has died a painful death in the uk with the introduction of cheap thrills like fusion and mutant, plus the rise in theft and insurance costs.

years ago you'd have someone walk in and say, here's 2-3k, build me a nice system that will make me happy & proud.

now everyone wants to only spend £100 all inclusive on a fli kit.

there are people out there who are still into their audio, but few and far between :)

il try and get a picture of my new speakers and stick them up tonight, and maybe of my car to put up.

Dont be expecting my car to be all modified lol :p

or infact modified at all! (except the new speakers :slayer:)

My Best tip is dont start cheap, i wasted so much money on cheap audio, its crap. you can get cheap sub and amp packs for as little as £60 now, but there not worht the bother, if you spend the right amount you can get some good stuff, look for names like Jl,Alpine,Pioneer etc etc, names like that you cant got wrong with, if you go into your nearest halfords you can get a pay monthly head unit from as little as £10 a month for 10 months, good luck.

Everybody will second that.
I wouldnt go finance or buy anything from halfords unless they are doing a really good deal because you can get stuff a lot cheaper else where.
