Small bit of an update, but a step in the right direction.

New aluminium cored radiator ordered, just so i know its tip top condition. Bought via ebay from:

http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/NRG-AUTOMOTIVE-RADIATORS__W0QQ_armrsZ1 for £34 delivered. Brilliant service from these guys.

2 New gearbox mounts ordered from Fluffy.

Part numbers: 46420420 =£12.20
46411024 = £27.33

Will be getting a decent condition offside mount ready to cut up and seal up in advance. This code for reference is: 46407194 and is very expensive for what it is (around £80+)

Also managed to get a garage for pretty cheap from a friend so wont be long before i can crack on.

Anybody know if the Punto GT fan switch fits the stilo engine as i have a spare one lying around.

For future ref i believe the 1.2 8v coil packs are the same that are used in this conversion. Same with the thermostat. So as i have new coils these will be kept and the lower temp thermostat will also be used.

I have now bought

SELENIA 20K OIL 5 LITRES for a bargain price of £30

which is 10w 40 and highly recommended for this engine.

Spare 1.4 16v flywheel bought so i can have it lightened before get the engine, then plan to sell the existing on. £47.50 dleivered.

Fiat stilo 1.2 / 1.4 16v Cambelt kit £40 delivered from shop4parts code:S4P1911
This includes tensioner and cambelt.

Progress so far is: Head of engine removed, with both manifolds and TB. Also 80% of front and rear abarth bumpers sprayed. Radiator and fan removed. Fan attached to new radiator along with the Punto GT Fan switch fitted. Also the ECU has been Decoded and reset by Reddy4bed on this forum at a cost of £45 + postage to him. This was a 2 day turn around. Absolutely brilliant. You send him 1 key, the immobiliser and ECU and he makes all codes match the key.

Next step is fuel pump and finish respraying i think.

Fuel pump fitted. It was a little bit slimmer than original but still sealed by the rubber surround. Was a little bit shorter as well so had to put it up slightly from the plastic seating. Prob means it will nearer empty than i think. Maybe one day ill replace it as its a fairly simple job.

And finally got hold of a bravo fuel rail.

After a couple of suggestions re. wrapping the manifold. I know i should wrap it all the way to the bottom, as it will help the cat being hotter, but at the top should i leave a gap or not????? Only reason i ask is i know aaron is a legend and decided not to, but many people i know said you should wrap the whole thing.

i used these guys (but they are rather northern when compared to your location!) http://www.camcoat.u-net.com/

turnaround i think was around a couple of days, but when i bought the manifold i had it shipped directly too them and then i picked it up from them myself - so am not 100% on turnaround inc postage etc.. but it won't be long.
