General Damaged alloy wheel on my 500C - help!

I haven't used them personally but the Westover group who have Abarth and Fiat franchises have a very good bodyshop I am told, located in Poole, (they repaired Heidi's Funk White 500 without all the hassle that LovesHandBags had to go through). Their smart repair service includes alloy wheels and they have and 0800 number to get a free estimate. Why not give them a ring?

I'll give them a call - I did already talk to a Fiat dealer but maybe Westover might be better.

Thanks :)

:yeahthat:
When I saw the scuff to your alloy I thought that it would be the ideal one on which to do a smart repair as advised.

My alloys were gauged and badly marked (click here). The bodyshop repair didn't have the skills to do a 'smart repair' and ended up outsourcing them (click here) which resulted in a much more expensive power coating finish - unfortunately I wouldn't get the benefit of that refurbishment since the car has sold. In my hunt for a new car I have seen countless number of cars with blistered lacquer on the alloys on 'expensive' secondhand cars. The only problem that I see with powercoating is that it wouldn't work on alloys with different colours e.g the 5 o spokes that I used to have had the 'black' insides a bit similiar to the OPs wheels.

On a separate note - comparing the thread with my old scuffed alloy and this one - there is a 'marked' difference on the standard of the contributions.(y)
