Technical Crazy firing problem

hi there can any one help me sort out a pronlem i have with my tipo
i have a 1,8 ie tipo j reg that doesnt fire on cylinder 1 ive replaced the rotor arm, distributer cap, ht leads.but it still wont fire on that cylinder all the others fire no problem . iv had the timing belt checked and its fine (it was replaced 2 months ago and has been trouble free so far )
is there any thing else that could be the problem at the momnent it doesnt want to start and i am getting very angry enough for me to get the thing removed to a scrappy.

wot use is a compression test, it will still fire even if u don`t av any compression

you wont get combustion in a cylinder if theres no compression,do you mean that you have no spark at the cylinder?if so i would think going by what youve replaced it most likely points to the coil/s

yes sorry for the confussion the problem is that there is compression at the cylinders there is just no spark comming to the first plug i have changed every thing from the coil onwards. i havent changed the coil as i am getting a spark at the other 3 plugs . can the ignition module be at fault or is there a problem with the timing as the spark at the other points seem to be eratic

think its best if ya check y theres no compression 1st, maybe a bent/leakin valve or a hole in ya piston, as for the eratic sparks, might b the coil itself, not sure.
