where is it and how do you get it off?

i looked in haynes but i cant find anything does it have another name? :chin:

on oil pump/filter housing, 10mm spanner/socket for bolt an pull
aka tdc sensor

Haynes call it a TDC sensor, chapter 4, diagrams 5.44 a, b and c

In the Haynes you'll find it at 4.7 "Crankshaft TDC Sensor". Look for pictures 5.44a et seq.
