General correcting mileage on digital clocks

got my lead, connected fine, went through to proxi, pressed execute etc. it's stopped flashing but it's still just on the mileage that i got the clocks with, so 2700 miles :O

gutted, everyone telling me on here how good FES is, looks like it's well and truely fecked up my mileage, going to look well dodgey when i come to sell!

The MOTs will cover you. But you need to keep the old clock to prove the total miles the car has done.

can't find the menu to put a new value in for the clocks, i'm not usually this bad with software

Put my old clocks in, seems the ecu has added the mileage of both onto my old clocks so they're now on 47k

the new one is back in now and still on 2800 miles, the option yani says is there to change the mileage isn't there, can't say i'm impressed with FES at all!

The option is there somewhere I can remember seeing it.

Think select the correct car then dashboard, then I think its the end tab.

Just to some it up. To remove faults and correct mileage correct/flashing mileage. I will need the full version of Fiatecuscan and this cable ...

That is correct.

An elm327 cable which connects into the fuse panel in drivings side.

Can read/clear trouble codes, check system functions.

Fix the flashing odometer and rewrite mileage for lower mileage clusters.

Needs the latest version of FES full and not free version.

You can get a cable with DIP switches or a plain one and three coloured adaptors. I like the 2nd option as it's more idiot proof. IMHO well worth the extra cash.

did you ever find out why we couldn't get it to work properly mate?

i could connect to everything else on his car but connecting through the proxi alignment it just brings up an error on the cable settings, when they're fine as it worked on my punto and connected to everything else.

i since tried it on my punto after his and it connected to mine fine.
