Newbie question. I couldn't see any previous posts on this topic. Anyone know what is involved in converting a 'regular' 2013 Panda front and rear end to Cross Bumpers etc?

Quite a lot!
As well as the bumpers, the trim around the wheel arches is different, and as a result, I believe the door protective panels too. Behind the front bumper may also use different support bars/fixings, and the Cross bumper also means you need to replace the DRLs and move the front fog lights - which might entail wiring loom alterations fixings as well? There's also something different bout the headlights but that too might just be a trim piece.
But why? The regular 4x4 bumper offers a bit more protection to the fragile radiator and air con condenser... although (very marginally) affects the approach angle if you are trying to climb rocks.
Oh, and the insurers probably wouldn't like it either...

Hi.
If you have any issues with insurance at all for this type of conversion then please feel free to drop me a line.
Regards,
Dan.

Thanks both. Sounds like more of a headache than I'd envisaged. I like the look of the cross and might have done something like this if I could have sourced parts from a breakers and it was all bolt on. It appears that it might not be.

Much of it is bolt on, it’s just that you need more of it than it looks and, more importantly, if you find them in breakers, they’re usually front end smashed, so not much to pick and choose from
