General contact points

Hi everyone, I have bought some points off ebay and they have turned out to be the wrong ones for mine. they were only £2.25 and seems pointless to just send them back. The intermotor part no. for them is 23080. Is this for the fire engine? If anyone can find out, or has an old box from their points lying around that would be great!
IF so, I can sell it for a couple of quid at a meet if someone is interested?

Try sticking this in the classifieds Si... no idea what 23080s are, there is an intermotor website though.

maybe it is just mine that has an odd dizzy set up. It does mean that the guy who sold it to me wasnt really in the wrong, but it is very missleading.
If so, anyone who wants it on here can have it, if no one takes now, i'll put it up in the classifieds.

To be honest, I didnt know that there was a different distributor set up on the 965cc to the 903cc. And the seller said it would fit mine too, so its not just me! lol

Did they make an 899cc panda? I dont think they did, hmmm this is odd! Probably just a variation they made maybe. I'll keep it and see if anyone recognises it another time.

They did do an 899 Panda but its electronic ignition.

Rules that out! Gota be the 903 then. It mentions the autobianchi A112 so really it must be the pushrod engine its for.

Careful though, its not my 903 part... you need to find out what years it covers, maybe the Mk1 903s?

You can just make out the dizzy caps are different, Mine has all the ignition leads side by side at the top, the mk1 903 has 3 on top and 2 beneath!

Well at least I know what its for now. Case closed.
