Technical Condensation in headlights

Is there a way to solve this problem?

What causes this?

Leave the back off

Drive with your headlights on

You basically got a 55W 260 centigrade halogen oven, waste of time with rice or hairdryer

Don't put the back back on too early, it can look clear but when it cooled down it will condense back out

Seal at the back damaged, common as they are easy to pinch

Cracked unit, rare

I have a garage hairdryer*, so I put it on cool running and prop it in the back of the open unit.

Since my hair is only a few mm long, I don't. But mrs Jeroen lets me use hers (although it is better if I don't ask)

A shopping centre car park bump can crack the headlight body. I pulled mine off and found a crack. Cleaned it out with a Dremel and filled with body panel acrylic sealer. No more problems.

That said, used headlights are not silly money on eBay.
