Hello,
We have no access to the 2022 documentation.
Working with vehicles electrics it is always recommended to disconnect the battery. In the previous models the airbag module was very sensitive to voltage fluctuations, drops, etc. Especially when playing with the seats wiring (like installing swivel bases), disconnecting the battery is mandatory!
The nowadays vehicles, from the electronic point of view, are computers on wheels. FYI, this is how the BCM in my 2011 Ducato looks like in the inside:

The middle port on the bottom is the OBD2 port. So, this is what is behind the cab's fusebox.
For your 'restart the system' message, I'd personally try disconnecting the battery for some time. However don't do it like you'd do in a car from the 80's. I assume the battery is still under the cab's floor. Get into the cab. Close all doors. Get the key out of the ignition (might want to close the central locking first, so you'll be able to close the only open drivers' side door with the key when you leave, I assume the key lock is still there, isn't it?). Press some buttons on the dash (the ones that work with ignition only) to discharge some more voltage from the system. Wait for a minute or two more. And then disconnect the battery (negative cable should be enough). Then wait for some 30 minutes, I think it should be enough. And the reverse for reconnecting the battery.
