Hi Guys,

I've recently bought a Punto which i believe has a Cobra alarm installed. I got two cobra fobs with the car and it also has what appear to be sensors installed on the A pillars. Unfortunately i cannot get it to activate. Both fob's little LED lights are working so i guess that means their batteries are okay... i have tried the reset which i've read about on the internet but still no luck.

I'm wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of how and where to check to ensure the alarm hasn't been disconnected?

Cheers

Find it and follow the loom :)
Check its got power to start - a multi-meter Might come handy here

The Sensor on the A Pillar i would assume will be a proximity sensor - tells whats in car - and when someone puts there fist through a window :)

I've managed to find the little box, it says it's a Cobra 7915? When i look through all the manuals that came with it this model doesn't seem to be mentioned :S

How am i to check it's got power? Can the loom be unplugged from the box?

Cheers.
