if this is aftermarket H/u it may have its own fuse
on back of the unit..it will be somewhere near where the wiring conectors go into it.

Yes it has checked the fuse and replaced it twice to make sure it's not the radio. The radio was fine till my mate started messing with the wires
take radio out and test it on its own feed,.
iuse a spare car battery for this or battery charger does the job,

Checked in a different car and it works fine so its not that. I don't suppose anyone knows if there is a wiring diagram or would posting a picture be any better

^ Car red+white (pin 4) --> Radio yellow (THIS IS THE PERMANENT POWER)
Car green+blue (pin 3) --> Radio red (THIS IS THE SWITCHED POWER)

Thanks again mate god your a life saver, looked at the wiring and it's was a wire that was not connected, so that's my car almost sorted.
More problems started found a rust hole in my floor pan in back on one side and a weld on they other side that's came away so I'm buying a arc welder next week to cut out the root and weld a new floor in. At least it's nothing to much. Just need it to last till end of year then the car is getting stripped down, getting all the rust sorted and then resprayed but have not decided what colour yet and under the car is getting treated with a new underseal once the rust is sorted.
Can you tell I love my mk2, just need some new speakers for the back, if anyone has any let me know. Also looking for a genuine mk2 punto 100w sub if anyone has one again please let me know.

ihavent found the pioneer ones, god knows where they are,
but ifound aset of original ones, theyre out of low mileage mk2b so shouid be
ok no sighn of damage on them, (but these are un-tested)

if you want them, ihave just found un-used gates cambelt for 8valve punto too

Ok mate will pm you in a few hours. For the alloys I'm absolutely gutted would of loved them but just can't afford the fuel to get down, if I can afford the fuel in future and you still have them I will let you know but for now I just have to feel gutted and put up with steelies. :-(
