clampers damage wheel

clampers damage wheel

first problem is proving they caused the damage.
second problem is that they have the right to fit the clamp and you didnt have the right to park there.
not a great situation to be in.

contact the company who clamped the car and complain......( not that they will do anything)..

the situation you are in does not help your case.. you were illegally parked and they clamped your car. any damage to your car is going to be hard to prove and going to the police/council will do little good..

best thing you can do is not park illegally again.. (y)

If he's still around, venomco is probably the man to speak to as a) he has legal training and b) dodgy parking contractors are one of his passions.

Now this is was very silly and childish so i do not recommend this course of action in any way what so ever and this is the only time i have ever been clamped so far

but while the thieving scum ,sorry clamper was dealing with me removing the clamp a passer by that i may or may not have known inadvertantly tripped and stuck a stanley knife in 3 of the 4 clampers tyres

made the £60 release fee much sweeter

:ROFLMAO:

wouldn't help remove the the clamp of your own wheel tho...

I may or may not be aware of someone removing the clamp from their wheel themselves...

No, not me.

Many legitimate clampers DVLA, Local council clamping officers and such take photos before they fit a clamp to show the condition of the wheel before.....

others on the other hand are more interested in your release fee..

on and as for "seeing" the clampers van have its rubber slashed :worship:

ppfftt just remove your own wheels and put them in the boot.. can't clamp em then.. :D

After a bit of an arguement over clamping and parking permits, one of the inhabitants of the estate I lived on at University last year clamped all 4 wheels himself whenever he got out of the car to stop another clamp being put on by parking attendants who disagreed with the colour descriptions the permit had and the colour of the car (the reg numbers definately matched though and I would have agreed with the DVLA that is was green not blue :bang:)
