No worries! I only enabled them the other week so wasn't sure if people knew about it yet!

The cinqs and seis are what really helped the forum kick off back in the old days, loads of enthusiastic young 'uns!

I guess there can't be many on the road anymore, especially in London with the new ulez 😩

Well, you've been here since 2002, so you should know better than most!

That's a very long time. And a lot of commitment & experience too!

Seicento, who couldn't love the Schumacher edition?

Haha, this topic again...

I think ultimately the thing people need to remember here is a cinq and a sei cannot be better than the other because they are the same car lol. It just boils down to which you prefer the looks of really. The only real difference is 99.9% of seicento has PAS whereas cinqs don't - for me the non-PAS steering is significantly nicer to drive as someone who just loves driving. But, being they are the same car all these parts are interchangeable so I don't really count it as a difference in real life..

This is actually where i will draw a genuine difference however, the Schumy had ABS, the only cento that came with ABS standard.. This ABS is in my opinion the worst ABS ever fitted to a car meaning its my own personal least favourite cento. I also think the early spi sporting/spi abarth has nicer seats than mpi sei. But we are into opinion rather than better/worse again, seats all interchangeable so just use whatever you prefer on any cento.

So in summary, i think the OP has hit the nail smack bang square on the head, he likes the sei more cause he just likes the look of it more. I like the cinq more cause i think that looks better. But neither car is better in any technical way.

But... But... The Schumacher had nice wheels, a very nice colour scheme and a little racing car decal on the back :D

I did greatly enjoy the Schumy I had as a hire car for a few weeks back when they were new, but I guess I haven't tried all the models...

yeah but... the earlier spi abarth has the same wheels and kit and has scorpions on it rather than schumy logos - infinitely cooler in my book. That said, I've never been a fan of Michael either so I am a bit biased.. Really though, its just the ABS i don't like about them. They do have some nice trim bits like the gear gaiter surround that was schumy only..
Oh and then theres the different front bumper too, i think the early spi sporting bumpers are so much nicer than the mpi ones.

Like i say though, I'm in the realms of my opinion more than anything else - it does seem to me that i am in the minority liking the front of an spi over an mpi though.

For me, i've already owned the holy grail seicento. I had a spi abarth sei that was turbo converted before the first owner took delivery of it and was spec'd with aircon and sunroof (rare combo, usually if you ordered AC you didnt get a sunroof), also had ABS as factory option. Clearly I'm biased but had that car not have had ABS it would have been perfect but it was cool to have for bragging rights lol. http://tinyurl.com/b73-marella

I used to have a 98 black sei sporting abarth. My wife had a 93 green basic cinq. The sei was faster, quieter and more reliable.

Why did I used to prefer driving her cinq ?
