Technical Cigarette lighter wiring

Could someone please explain the wiring colours for the cigarette lighter in my 100HP?

I want to change the cigarette lighter to a double USB socket (I did the same in my classic 4X4) but don't know which colours correspond to the +ve (always on) and -ve (Earth). Can anyone tell me please?

have that planned for mine but keeping the fag lighter socket gonna add my usb slots some were ....dunno were yet tho

Hi PINKY &B/P.E-Bay have an item that looks like a plastic cup. It has 2 cig lighter sockets and 2 USB sockets plus a "Digital" readout for the battery voltage. It locates in the cup holder of your car. I appreciate that it's not a hard wiring option but does do the job. It plugs into the cig lighter socket.

Don't know the colours, but when you unplug the lighter, the wire to the centre terminal is the live feed. It is only live with ignition on.
Then there will be a wire to the illumination, and the earth. Earth should be a black one.

Seem to be loads of variations. Two 1.2 2005 Dynamics had completely different fuse box in the engine bay and close but different fuses next to the steering column.

The Guide "How to install an original 12v power socket in a Fiat Panda" might give you some clue, however different Panda's do have different wiring looms.
