About 2 weeks ago my car went in to shutdown on the way to work, check engine light came on. After plugging in a diagnostic tool I got a P1120 error code which relates to the throttle position sensor. So I ring the Fiat garage and order what I believe to be a new one, when it arrives it's the accelerator pedal and the associated attached parts. Had it fitted, the car seemed fine until last night when it happened again. Have I bought the wrong thing? Can anyone help pointing out what it actually is, if I have?

It's a 1.4 multi-air sporting.

Many thanks, look forward to your help!

Potentially it needs re-calibration via Software

also, I found this:

Don't know about Fiats but on many bikes the TPS is adjustable usually by built in self diagnosis,
the sensor is fitted to the throttle body by screws in slotted holes and it's position can be altered.
