General Chassis Number Fiat Multipla

Please can someone tell me where to find My Chassis Number on my Fiat Multipla

I have searched the entire car I think!!!!

front door frames and doors
under bonnet
under carpet in boot

no where to be found HELP need to get parts for it and need it.

not on my car document either where it says Chassis number only gives a short 8 number

Should be on a plate under the bonnet but could also be stamped into the floor under a plastic flap nead the driver's seat and may also be etched into the windscreen or any of the other windows. The chassis number (VIN) should begin with ZFA.

Or you can just read it off of the V5!

It might be worth checking the number against that anyway just to make sure everything's in order. I had some problems during the week trying to get a price on a part from my local Fiat dealer. They couldn't find my car on the Fiat system which was a bit worrying. Turns out that the VIN had been entered incorrectly when the car was first registered (not by this dealer), so typing in the correct chassis number brought nothing up. It's only taken just over five years for someone to notice!
