Technical Changing Stereo on Fiat Idea

Hi,

any tips on how I go about this,
Do I need to get new casing for the unit? if so, where from?
Do I need to go to a Fiat garage for this,

fiat dealership will have/get you surround for the standard size (DIN) aftermarket stereo you want to fit.

You probably have done this by now, but the metal cage which came with the stereo fitted in the Fiat 'DIN' hole, the main problem is with the two 12v feeds Fiat only use one of them, the solution is to be found elsewhere on the forum.
