Turn the engine over first thing and I don't have the centre LED console working. After driving it 5 minutes or so say to the local post office I can park up, switch off the car, deal with post office stuff then head home and the centre LED console looks all 'gibberish'. Drive her for long enough and switch off the car and switch her back on and all is fine!

I've had the centre console sent off to ECU Testing to confirm all is working correctly and no faults were found. Nothing is being detected when I read for error codes apart from one around the throttle sensor.

Any thoughts on where to go from here? I've noticed that the 'covers' are missing from the Loom connecter that goes to the ECU.

Faulty ECU that needs to be checked, Can I get replacement covers for the loom connection? I've reached out to a few Fiat specialists in the area with no reply as of yet.

Have you checked the hatch wiring? A very well known issue that can cause this
Just checked now and there appears to be some exposed cables, will look to order up a repair kit and report back.
Out of interest, would exposed wires be cuasing this? I can't see them touching each other or metal etc.
