Assume you mean the central locking system?
If so, please see the text below, and the attached PDF, which is a pic of the items it refers to and their location in the car. (right hand drive).
Looks like the pic you have posted is item M40 in these descriptions.
Appears to be behind the dashboard by the looks of it??

Circuit Description
The integrated services control unit M40 manages the operation of the circuit.
The control unit M40 is supplied directly by the battery - pin 8 of connector B - from the line for maxifuse J/B2 of B5 via fuse B19. Pin 13 of connector B provides the earth.
The control unit M40 receives input signals coming from the locks N50 and
N51:
for locking, if the earth signal reaches pin 15 of M40;
for unlocking, if the earth signal reaches pin 16 of M40.

The same signals arrive at pins 12 and 13 of connector A for the remote control receiver M35.

In accordance with the logic illustrated previously, control unit M40 controls the two front locks N50 and N51 and the rear locks N55 and N56 from pins 4 and 5 of connector B.

The receiver for the remote control M35 is supplied directly by the battery at pin 3 from the line protected by fuse F10 and by a line protected by the ignition {INT} at pin 7 from the line protected by fuse F1; both fuses are located in the junction unit B1. Pin 4 is earthed.

Pins 5 and 6 give out signals {door locking and door unlocking} for the integrated services control unit M40.

If there is no alarm system, the receiver M35 is equipped with an autodiagnostic function which can be accessed by connecting to connector R10: it receives signals from pin 2 of the remote control receiver M35.
