Technical Central locking

Hi all I have a fiat grande punto 2010 the central locking locks but won't open key only works drivers door and the other 3 are dead locked any one help plz

Is it the same with a spare key if you have one and if you put the key in the door lock to unlock manually instead of "blipping it", or pressing the unlock button twice? Daughter has a 2012 Punto Evo 5 door which works as normal, just lock and unlock all doors on the button. I had a Citroen C3 Picasso that gave trouble and I had to replace the drivers door lock itself, but that one would just lock the entire car while keys inside! There is nothing in the handbook about a security setting? What about when you are in the car and press the lock / unlock button on the dashboard?

Hopefully another member with more specific knowledge can help you, maybe someone with the Multiscan program living near you to reprogram it, other than that maybe a friendly auto locksmith.
