Below the Fold Categorising the downloads section

I've just laboriously gone through every file in the downloads area and tried to give it a relevant category. God that took ages, I really should have automated it!

Anyway, that's done now - and going forward every resource added will require the uploader to pick type and language which will then allow the new filter section to work properly.

Just to confuse you all, the eLearn category is for files downloaded from eLearn and converted to PDF by some of our members :) The actual eLearn program download (if we have it) would be in the Repair Manual section.

The reason I've done this is so if we manage to get our own eLearn up and running, I can quickly find (and delete) all the rips that were uploaded.

Great job, ben :) Thanks :)

is there a multilanguage option in the language menu? ;)

I know that some of the ressources come directly from eLearn. But I'd however check what needs to be removed. Manually.

Like a simple pdf with wiring diagram - ok, it can be easily retrieved from the eLearn. Or the older models scans. But I have myself made some docs and tables that could be useful (like torques, with conversions to other units), which have added value and cannot be easily printed (due to stupid original formatting).

I thought about this, but wasn't sure how it would work. Just setting "multi language" doesn't really help, or does it?

The solution would be to allow multiple language selection I guess. However then I might have to do all 500 of them again 😱

In that case maybe I'll just put everything in repair manuals and skip the eLearn category.

Luckily I can find them all quickly now using the filter 😁

The FIAT multilanguage docs are like 6 or 8 only. Or might be 10...
In worst case scenario 29:

Thanks. I could mark mine that have the added value if you want :)

Fine fine, you win. A quick update script was produced and we now have...

I'll keep an eye on new uploads and if people tick "Other" - I'll add that language to the list and update the upload accordingly :)

Oh and eLearn now merged with Repair Manual.

The language choice, is that something that can be done to the existing ressources, too?

Can I edit my ressource and add this information?
Resources are locked once they're submitted, but I went through all of them setting the correct language (and looking for any that said multi language)

If I missed any, let me know and I'll get that sorted 👍
