Styling Carbon Wrapping

Thanks. The first mirror took me an hour to do. The second not so long.
I practiced with an ofcut for a short time before to get an idea of how the wrap feels when at norm temp and when heated up (via heatgun).

The hardest part is the top edge of the mirror nearest the door as you have 3 surfaces to cover at awkward angle (have to stretch wrap back on itself but left with overlap..........hope that makes sense.
I cut the excess waste to creat seemles join. Its on the area that faces the door so not too bad but i know its ther.

Looks a very good finish to me (y), I might give it a go, where did you get your carbon wrap from??

I got mine from these guys www.3mcarbonfibrevinyl.co.uk
They were very quick to send out. just over £10 for a sheet of 30cm x 60cm.

In theory its enough to do each mirror twice but you need to get a feel for how the wrap works and allow for mistakes too.

May do my spoiler next.:)
