Car Room 101

Dacia Dusters/Sanderos/Logan.

A car for people who think I'm getting a brand new car for second hand money and it's okay....

It's not okay, it's old Renaults built cheaply where a second hand 1yr old car would be better

Normally I'd write why I hate this car so much but I think it speaks for itself and about the people who'd buy one...

I just see both of these as owning the fact you are not a car person. Not horrible just things that fulfil the dictionary definition of a car and don't provide anything else which for some is enough.

All these things are for people who just want some car... they are not bad just like going to homebase and asking for eight feet of wood.

citreon c1 , because when i get tailgated 9/10 times it seems to be a c1 with a little girlie in it that looks to be late teens/early 20's and seems to think it's acceptable to get that close i can't even see the number plate in the rear view mirror :bang:

Fair enough! In it goes!

VW golf 7 1.2 TSI 85bhp, If ever a car existed solely for hire companies and so VW can advertise starting from "£xxxxx" than that is the car. I'm sure it's probably perfectly worthy, but it's just so 6/10ths of the proper model and still not actually cheap.

I'll put that in for you. I'm sure it would be no loss to the motoring world!

Now you'll hate me for this, but I'm not going to put that in.

For me, that is a proper Citroen: like the legendary DS, that is the very definition of thinking outside the box. It was brave of them to put that into production, and there's some neat ideas on it.

Sorry, but you'll have to take that 1 home with you! :p

Again, you guys will hate me, but I'm not putting them in.

Personally, I think cars are getting too expensive, and being stuffed with ever increasing amounts of pointless equipment. With Dacias, I quite like the fact that even on the top model 1s, you only get the useful luxuries, with all the unnecessary guff left out, and for a reasonable price.

Sorry, you'll be taking them home too! :p
