General car making a buzzing cross tire rubbing sound

hi just wondering if any of you guys or girls have had this problem or herd about this problem before the problem being that a few weeks ago I was driving home at about 40mph when I began hearing what sounds like a buzzing buzz sound that sounds a bit like a tire rubbing cross buzz sound coming from the front of my car it would come and go and would only happen at around 40mph but now it can happen anywhere from 30mph up sometimes it doesn't happen at all sometimes it can occur every few minutes hope that makes some kind of scene thank you for looking
