Hey guys,

hope you're all doing well :)

I've got a little problem with my Palio, the bulb warning light went on, and there aren't any bulbs that are out !

What fault could this be ?
it comes on as soon as I turn on the lights and stays on till i turn off the car (sometimes)

if i start the car and use it without lights on (daytime) , the bulb warning never comes on, thus it's not the Distributor/Battery/Dynamo i guess

any thoughts ??

It means there is a Bulb At fault
Not a Bulb that is dead

Could be something silly like you've put the wrong Watt Bulb in

for Example i (based on punto mk2)
Brake Lights are 12v 21w - Where People have Put LED types in they're measured at 12v 5w
The Bulb is using much less, so the ECU thinks the bulb is going funny so it warns you

Type 2
I'd be getting the Bulbs out One by one, cleaning them and making sure the contacts are good

As poor Connection is another case of why the light will come on as the resistance is high due to poor connectivity

Hey Ziggy

Thanks for your help :)

Well, I don't use LED lights at all (too ricy for me (n))
but perhaps something else is wrong as u said (bulbs might be dirty or something like that !)

I also have another question, I recently changed my rear driving lights, what are the usual correct wattage for those ?? do you have any idea?

thanks :)

Hello guys, how u doin :slayer:

I've checked my entire lightning system, made sure everything is clean and fitted properly, cleaned the connections and everything and guess what ? the bulb warning is still on ! :(

I'm going insane about that, I had a burnt light behind the A/C Controls, I took the dash out and even changed that :D haha (I feel better about that btw)

do you guys have any ideas what could be the cause behind this ?!

Seems there aren't any bulbs i can change, and the wattages are correct, I verified it on the bulb ratings written on the housing ...

any thoughts will be appreciated !:)
