My car is covered in **** and its time to give it a clean, but looking at the weather its going to reach a high of ....... 1c here tomorrow, then its going to snow :| does anyone know of a brushless car wash in Aberdeen? or one that wont destroy my paint :(

oh :( I just don't want to go through a normal one again, since last time I lost a line of paint in a few places!

theres a few brushless fixed site ones in dundee still, all have pressure washing equipment these days

there was a brushless, waterless mobile car wash in Dundee that went out of buisness for a month after it burnt peoples paintwork off lol

as for your car greg, if your that worried get a bucket and sponge, go and clean it yourself. job done.

Its a little cold for that carry on? :( I have buckets, wash mits, polish, wax, quick detailer . . .blah blah blah but its too cold to be messing about outside lol guess I will see what tomorrow brings.

We used to put brand spanking new cars through the IMO/arc carwashes before polishing them for all the main dealers in 1992-1995 when they had the carwash franchise and used to laugh at folk who used to maintain they would never put their car through 1! Lol

Anyone use snowfoam? been looking into it but not convinced

As for touchless in Aberdeen, looked at weekend when there and found nothing

FOUND ONE :D well its not a brush less carwash but it is like KieranB said, for £1 you get 230 seconds on the clock and can choose rinse, hot shampoo, foaming brush (which I stayed well clear of) and wax finish :D

Obviously I didnt get it done in 230 seconds cause it was FILTHY but £3 got me a rinse, shampoo and rinse again :D

If anyone is interested its on South Esplanade West in an old petrol statoin. there are 3 of the machines there and they are cracking wee things for the money :)

Obviously it holds nothing on breaking out the wash mits, buckets, pressure washer, polish, wax blah blah but in these winter months its better than nothing?

Yep, works a treat as first stage of car cleaning, my car has no swirlies. NOT in this weather though, it actually makes snow!!!

I never get touched up in Aberdeen (too old and ugly)
