Jonboy. Thanks for your kind offer. I bought a travel bag in case I decide to go tonight and the Tipo is here in Leeds (where I work) gleaming and ready to emerge into the daylight. What time would you be planning to set off - (from Mirfield???) If I went tonight I have no tent so I'd need to look up some accom.

I've a set of brake heatshields for a 1.9TD - FOC. That enough to get you out of bed? :p

Is the campsite right next to Brooklands? I'm staying over at Chessington - hotel due to young family in tow.

well she made it back no problem:D was a good day(y)
unlucky for hjf007 past him broke down on the hard shoulder of the M25, gave him a honk on the horn when i went past:D

..... I said the alternator was playing up, didn't I! I just got back to Leeds in a 'Ford Ka' - the Tipo is stuck in Watford FFS! Hopefully I can go down and get it later in the week. All that aside, Hazel and I had a fantastic day - it was good to meet all of those that we met properly, and we are looking forward to the next meet! Hopefully my Sedi'll be a bit more user friendly next time!

Thanks for stopping by the way Jonti - I should add that I had about 5 other cars stopped to help who weren't associated with Fiatforum, including one guy in an Alfa. It was getting embarrassing then lol!

Chris (& Hazel)

i thought about coming off at the next junction and going back round to see if i could help but i just had visions of me coming off and not being able to get back on and spending 2 hours trying to find my way again, thats what happened last time i tried turning round on the M25 anyway, ended up going the long way around the M25:bang:

Was good to put names to faces. Also was really good seeing 10 sedis in total. I got home ok but did have sum fun wit a lancia integerale though think he was a bit surprised when he put his foot down and i stayed with him :D looking forward to seein all you guys again at future events

An absolute pleasure to meet you guys, what a great day out!! The car was not a bit of bother and my foot was pretty heavy on the way home. Several much more modern cars were firmly put in their places. Just over 400 mile round trip and it didnt miss a beat, i have much more confidence with it after that trek.

Great to meet everyone yesterday........made me feel really old though as I was the age of most of you when the car was launched!!

11 Tipos of which 10 were Sedicivalvoles including the 2 on the Fiat Motor Club ( one of which was mine!) is I think pretty impressive so well done everyone.

Hey there boys'n girls, Arno made it back ok as well. It was nice to meet the ones i got to meet, shot some very nice film at brooklands in near HD quality. I still have to get the bags out of the car check some foto's and capture the film to pc. Sedici did well, apart from one weelbearing which is on its way out. we left the campsite at 10.00 UK time and returned here 19.30 UK time. Thanks again guys for tolerating the dutch guy !

I just realised - SPB wasn't at the show - who has got that car now? I haven't heard about it for a while...

Ok, just an impression. There is not enough upload room available to do it otherwise.

Great pics Arno (y) the close up of my crappy front bumper was most appreciated  the sooner I can sort that out the better.

Next year Parko will be turning up in a motor that looks a lot more at home in such esteemed company.

:)
